Leading edge of medical science
Many of our consultants work at top NHS teaching hospitals and choose HCA because we provide access to the latest diagnostic and treatment facilities as well as an environment where they have the opportunity to practice at the leading edge of medical science.
We also facilitate many medical research projects and clinical trials at our hospitals, often run in conjunction with NHS hospitals and in acute treatment areas such as, Cancer, Cardiology and Neurology. In some instances new procedures which have been successfully researched at our hospitals have subsequently been adopted as national standards by NICE (National Institute of Clinical Excellence).
