Direct Admission to Hospital

Seeking medical treatment outside your home country is no longer a problem. At HCA, we have a special team dedicated to attend to your healthcare needs.

Please complete the International Patient Centre Referral Form and submit it with a Medical Report. This can be faxed to +44(0)20 7759 3825, or alternatively you can email it to intl.marketing@hcahealthcare.co.uk

The Medical Report should provide full details of the patient's present condition, relevant medical history, provisional diagnosis and the treatment or investigations expected:

Please fax or email the Medical Report and completed referral form
to IPC on +44(0)20 7759 3825
.

Emergency Admission to a HCA Hospital

Emergency admission to any of our hospitals can be arranged by contacting HCA Connect on: +44(0)20 7079 4344

What happens next?

Once the International Patient Centre have all the information the Medical Report is forwarded to the consultant most appropriate for the patient's individual problem.

The consultant then gives us his /her opinion on whether or not the patient requires his /her attention and if so will offer an appointment for consultation.

IPC will then provide you with estimates of all treatment costs involved and of duration of stay in the UK required to complete treatment and follow up.

Once the appointment date has been agreed, a letter will be sent giving all appointment details including a guide to costs of diagnostic investigations and treatment. It is possible that the final fees will total more than the guide price. It is only possible to give approximate costs until such time as the consultant has seen the patient and has ordered the investigations and decided on a course of treatment.

Although we always try to give prompt answers to queries, securing an appointment can take a few days. We need to allow time for the consultant to see the Medical Report and give a considered opinion.

Once the appointment has been booked, it is the patient's responsibility to confirm that he/she will attend as arranged seven working days before the date of appointment. Confirmation can be made via phone, fax or email. If confirmation is not forthcoming, the appointment will be cancelled.

Should you have any further questions regarding admitting a patient or any other aspect of the services HCA provides please contact the International Patient Centre

Visa Services

Once the appointment is initially confirmed and funds have been received, the International Patient Centre will issue an appointment and ‘confirmation to treat letter' to assist in the application for a visa and complete the admission procedure.

HCA has no influence on UK Immigration Policies and securing an appointment and receiving an invitation for medical care does not guarantee that the visa application will be successful.
