Private patients

As one of our patients, your comfort, privacy and peace-of-mind is most important to us. Nobody wants to come in to hospital, but at HCA we want to make your stay with us as pleasant as we possibly can.

Your questions answered

If you are your family are undergoing medical treatment, you will probably want to ask many questions. We try to provide you with as much information as possible at every appointment and everyone at our hospitals, from medical teams to the administration staff will always make the time to listen and help you.

Some general questions about payment and access are answered here, but you should contact your hospital for more detailed information and questions about any aspect of your care or coming into hospital.

The little extras

If you are staying in one of our hospitals you will find our rooms clean and comfortable (we pride ourselves on the cleanliness of our hospitals). Most of our rooms are single occupancy with en-suite shower rooms, TV, satellite channels, radio and direct dial telephone. Your selected hospital will give you more exact details of available rooms.

Visiting times are flexible and there are special menus available for dietary and cultural needs.

We can also arrange translators and if you and your family have travelled from overseas, we offer help and information about local accommodation. Our International patients section has more information about these services.

Our commitment to patients

If you would like to know more about our approach to care for our patients, then please feel free to read our HCA Code of Conduct which all our staff members sign up to.

Feedback

We regularly ask our patients for feedback about their care. You can see a copy of our Patient Satisfaction Survey here.
